Have had these for several weeks now and I am quite happy with them, I bought two of these for my elderly parents, as their health is not as it once was, the SOS function would be a great importance and value, These were the 3rd and hopefully final selection of this type of phone, the first two proved very inadequate, one was too fragile the other faulty, they were both returned, I am happy to report that, these are proving rather more suitable and fit for purpose, they are of a higher quality than the others, and though more expensive than the others we tried, the extra cost is proving worthwhile, they were also easier to set up than the others, they are quite loud in both ring and conversation, which is useful as my parents are rather deaf, however i’m not, and can hear their conversation from across the room, the screen and keypad are large and clear, they are reasonably easy to use, the best selling features for my parents were, the SOS function, The Speed Dial Buttons, the volume and the Clamshell design, the charging cradle is also a good thing, as they often find it tricky finding the charger socket and plugging it into the phone, other features i have found might be useful are the talking keypad, it says the number pressed outloud, so the dialer knows they have it right, these are a good quality SOS phone, simple and easy to use, my parents are pleased with them and thus so am I, and we have the confidence that they will be there ready working and fully functional, should the SOS function be needed, unlike the other cheaper and far inferior ones we tried. good colour options too!
